Mike Michel's First Solo Acoustic Groove Record which spawned The Orange Goodness! Mike was Hit with an onset of severe tinnitus & Hyperacusis a few years back and was out of the music game from 2014-2016. But with hard work, a team of physicians, gurus and some divine intervention, Mike made a huge music come back in 2017 with the release of his first acoustic groove record, On The Mend. Mike partnered with Publisher, Think Piece, which spawned a national auditory health campaign with OTM. Ian Allison played bass on OTM & Steve Goold played drums. Over a two year period, and with the addition of Reese Kling on drums, this solo effort turned into a full on electric groove-infused rock band we now call The Orange Goodness! Mike named the group as a nod to his upbringing in a visual arts family who loved the color orange and being a child of the 1980's! On The Mend is not only dedicated to helping musicians with auditory conditions find resources, but also can serve as an inspirational record for all of those affected by mental and physical health issues! OTM was engineered & mixed by Jason Orris at The Terrarium in Minneapolis.
